The city made this hard. We’ll help you through it.
The Short-Term Rental License (STRL) is real work — forms, documents, fees and a lot of small requirements that are easy to miss. Plenty of owners never start. We’ll sit with you and get the package together at no charge, because a directory where every listing is permitted is worth more to us than a subscription.
Tell us about your place and where you are in the process.
We send you Atlanta’s checklist and a folder to drop your documents into.
We help you get the package complete and organised.
You sign it and file it with the city.
Send us the permit number and your listing goes up free.

Worth knowing
- Atlanta's primary-residence requirement and its two-unit-per-owner cap are repealed on 1 January 2027. If you are applying near that date, check which rules apply to you.
- No liability insurance minimum, no background check and no inspection are required.
- The city publishes a 10 business day processing time.
Lodging tax
Atlanta levies an 8% hotel-motel tax, plus Georgia's $5 a night state fee for the first 30 days. A platform that acts as marketplace innkeeper under O.C.G.A. 48-13-50.4 collects both; a direct booking is yours to file.
